who are elected by the members of Little Rocky Run to serve for two-year terms. |

Meet the Board of Trustees
Board officers are elected each year by the Board of Trustees. New
officers are nominated and elected at each Annual Meeting to serve a one-year
term that will end at the Annual Meeting the following year.

The Board of Trustees is the governing body for the Little Rocky Run Homeowners Association. It oversees all aspects of managing the community with the assistance of other volunteer committees and the association staff.

Preparation - How to prepare for becoming a Trustee
We recommend that volunteers interested in joining the BOT attend committee meetings such as the Architectural Review Board or Budget and Finance Committee, or join a committee for a period of time. This will help you familiarize yourself with the association and its business practices. Finally, we strongly encourage you to attend Board of Trustees meetings prior to running for a position on the BOT. Although we strongly encourage participating as a community or committee volunteer, this is not a requirement to run for a position on the Board.

The Little Rocky Run Homeowners
Association holds annual elections
for Trustees. The results are announced at the
Annual Meeting.
To become a candidate, complete a Trustee Candidate Packet* and mail, submit by email or hand-deliver to the HOA office at 6201 Sandstone Way, Clifton, Virginia 20124. Trustee candidate applications will be accepted December 10, 2007 - January 18, 2008.
The packet consists of a petition to be signed by
ten of your neighbors, a biographical sketch to tell us a little about yourself
and four essay questions. The essay questions or "Viewpoints of the Candidate"
is a way for you to express why you want to be a Board member and how you will
perform your duties as a Trustee. .
*Trustee Candidate Packets will be posted online and
available to pick up at the HOA Office on December 10.
